How long have you had migraines?
I’ve probably had migraines since my 20s but I would only get one a month, or every other month, not like I get them now. I have a spinal cord injury that happened 14 years ago and in the last couple of years the migraines have gotten to be more frequent. Lately I’ve had a migraine every week and usually they last for two days but I have headaches frequently too so I use Cefaly quite a bit now. It helps a lot. When I get a migraine I don’t take any pain medication because I’ve tried different things and they don’t really work, so Cefaly is the best.
When do you usually get migraines?
I don’t have any specific triggers, there’s no rhyme or reason… they just come.
What have you tried pre-Cefaly?
I’ve tried many over the counter and prescription medications. I also tried neurotoxin injections and things like that.
What does your migraine feel like?
It hurts so bad I can’t focus. I want it to be dark. I don’t want any noise. I don’t want to eat. It’s just a lot of pain. It’s a constant hurting that’s unbelievable.
How did you hear about Cefaly?
I saw Cefaly mentioned on a television news show.
What’s your Cefaly experience like?
I like it. Cefaly is the only thing that’s helped me. I wear it every day. I have headaches all the time. The Cefaly has been my saving grace. It’s really helped me. It helps with the pain.
What made you want to share your story?
My husband asked if I wanted to share my story and I said sure. I didn’t see any harm. Maybe my experience will help someone else.
